In a bid to save the environment, Kasoma Noordin the CEO of Bookogi Bikes is making bicycles with bamboo.
In his interview with BBC Africa, Noordin, who is passionate about bicycle said he saw a way to solve environmental problems with his love for bikes.
“I realized that my idea of connecting the bicycle and the environment will make a very big impact,” he said.
Noordin makes bicycle frames at $500. He outlined the effort his company made to cultivate and harvest bamboo of different sizes for the project.
