In a bizarre circumstance, an airborne plane was forced to return to the airport in Saudi Arabia, when a mother on board raised an alarm that she had left her baby at the terminal.

The flight which was heading to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from Jeddah had to make a u-turn when the passenger reported her missing baby to the cabin crew.

The Golf News report that the air traffic controllers were surprised when they learnt a passenger had forgotten her child in the airport waiting area.

He was then cleared to return to the airport.
