Two Men Narrate How They Miraculously Missed Crashed Ethiopian Airlines Flight, Watch

Fate smiled on a greek man who would, according to him, have been the 150th passenger to board the ill-fated Nairobi-bound Ethiopian Airlines Boeing plane that crashed killing all on board, if not for the fact that he arrived at the airport 2 minutes late.

Antonis Mavropoulos, in a post on his Facebook page, tagged “My Lucky Day”, shared an emotion-filled testimony where he narrated how he escaped death alongside casualties of the flight.

“When I arrived, the boarding was closed and I watched the last passengers in tunnel go in – I screamed to put me in but they didn’t allow it,” he said in the post written in Greek.

He said he was then moved to the next flight but before boarding, authorities told him he could not board the plane and their superior officer would explain to him.

An officer of the airport later told him to say thank you to God after informing him that the plane had crashed killing all those who were on board.

Likewise, Ahmed Khalid, a Kenyan national who was traveling from Dubai, said he had missed the connecting flight, which crashed minutes after takeoff, due to a delay in the first leg of his trip.

You will recall that Station Magazine had reported that a Nigeria-born Canadian professor was among the 157 persons who lost their lives in the crash on Sunday.
