Embarking on a new journey, starting a new adventure have its ups and downs. Naturally, humans have issues with change. our decision to initiate plans to achieve the goals we set for ourselves might be confronted by fear, procrastination and self-doubts.
In her new podcast via her podcast channel, Ifechat, titled “Starting Something New” Ifedapo Obateru open our eyes to the realities involved in starting new projects we have in mind to achieve.
In her first podcast of the year 2021, she pointed out that growth can only happen with consistency. Growth, according to her, is a constant process that requires daily effort to attain.
While acknowledging the reality of fear and the fact that mistakes are inevitable, Ifedapo admonishes that every person should embrace the beginner’s mindset.
“Don’t let the fear of the unknown stop you from achieving that great thing you want to achieve. Every good thing today has a beginning. if they have allowed the fear of the unknown stop them, we wouldn’t have those great things, at least not from them.” She said.
She emphasises the importance of personal development. This involves taking conscious efforts to making a better you out of yourself.
