Liberian filmmakers are telling the story of the country experience with Ebola.
The film, which is the first of its kind, produced and filmed in the country by local filmmakers, narrates the story of survival, fear, panic, suffering, and death.
Reliving their experiences, the filmmakers involved in the project said it was important they tell the story so that the people can learn from their past, appreciate the present situation and prepare for the future.
One of the filmmakers, Nurudeen Sanni, Cinematographer, while speaking to CNN Africa about the outbreak, said: “It was important for me to keep filming, because, must foreign journalist and media experts were afraid to come to Liberia”
Station Magazine recalls that the Epidemic that broke out in 2014 to 2014 claimed the lives of 4800 plus persons.
