Today is World Autism Day. The question for today is, Are Nigerians aware of the condition known as Autism and how it affects the lives of those living with the condition?
Stories abound of how mothers or parents of these children abandon and hide these kids, giving in the pressure stigma attached to the existence of the kids living with these conditions.
Nigerians rarely know much about autism and why they need to take conscious efforts to curb the occurrence of the condition. We also need to be aware of ways to help children living with this condition all over the country.
