Brittle Paper is Looking for Editorial Volunteers (Financial Compensation)

Brittle Paper turns 10 this year, and we are looking for volunteers to assist with the commemorative activities. Volunteers will mainly take part in content research and creation. There is some financial compensation.

Brittle Paper is an online literary magazine for readers of African Literature. We feature news about books, publish fiction, poetry, book reviews, and essays, and bring African literature to captive audiences in digital spaces.

Applicants Must Meet the Following Requirements:

Strong writing skills and the ability to write on literary topics
Interest in African writing and literary culture
A can-do attitude and an openness to learning new things
Be detail-oriented and reliable
Must be able to start immediately
Staying up to date with literary happenings on social media

What You’ll Be Doing:

– Doing research on African literary trends
– Write a handful of content for publication on Brittlepaper.com

What You’ll Get

– A modest payment

Volunteering Duration:

2–3 months
