Lota Chukwu's Short Film "I am (Now/Not) my Mother"

Still the World Women History Month. To acknowledge the issues women go through, Lota Chukwu and Zebra Stripes Networks are out with a short film,  “I Am (Now/Not) My Mother,”

The short film which featured Lota Chukwu and Wole Ojo, tell a hard story about domestic and emotional violence.

The film tells the story of a married woman who is doing all she can to stop herself from reliving her mother domestic violence ordeal that later lead to the death of her mother.

The film was shot and edited by Nora Awolowo and written by Ruth Dulac.
