Odunlade Adekola and Toyin Abraham have once again brought their dexterity to the fore as they feature in an upcoming movie, titled “Nimbe” directed by Toke Alake.
The movie which centers around drug abuse, domestic violence, cultism, prostitution, and other societal problems was produced by Folarin Laosun and written by Ronke Gbede.
Other stars in the movie, include Chimezie Imo as Nimbe alongside, Kelechi Udegbe and Sani Musa Danja.
The movie is slated to be released in the cinema on the 29th of March, 2019.
Nimbe is the story of a teenager, constantly bullied by his peers but finds consolation, love, and relevance in a street gang he is introduced to by an elder neighbor he meets by chance.
In this company, he is introduced to the dangerous world of drugs where he experiences the accompanying challenges and consequences prevalent of such a life. Crime, prostitution, cultism, corruption and other such societal vices are among the themes to be expressed through the movie.
