In the recent update to the numbers of confirmed cases in Nigeria by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday Night, Lagos still accounts for the majority of the cases, with 378 cases out of 553 cases reported all over the country.
The FCT followed Lagos State with 52 cases with Delta accounted for 23 cases on the list. other states on the list include Edo state, 22, Rivers -14, Ogun 13, Kaduna 12 and others.
The number of cases is the highest confirmed coronavirus cases recorded for a single day.
This number indicates an exponential increase in the number of confirmed cases in the country since the lifting of Lockdown in some of the most affected states like Lagos and Abuja.
In total, Lagos accounts for 4377 cases of the 9302 cases reported in the country since the inception of the virus in the country in February.
