The Director of “The Herbert Macaulay Affair”, Imoh Umoren has released the trailer of the movie described as one of the most anticipated works in Nollywood.
The trailer of the biopic of the reverend nationalist was released on the 1st of October to make Nigeria’s 59th Independence.
According to the director, “The Herbert Macaulay Affair is a story about the beginnings of the revolution. And hopefully, the life of Herbert Macaulay inspires us to stand up against tyranny.”
The film re-enacted 1922 Lagos and the struggle of the then British colony against the dreaded bubonic plague hit Lagos
