Moreso, we don't have a serious government in this country.
We should have have done some of these?
-Press conference to address Nigerians & d world
-Summoned the South African high commission
-impose sanctions on South Africa
-or cut ties with SA until furher notice#Xenophobia— Damorela (@theDamorela) September 2, 2019
South Africans are taking Nigerian lives in South Africa, destroying & looting their homes, properties, businesses & jobs.
They've forgotten the role Nigerian and Nigerians played in the fight against Apartheid & in the release of Mandela & their leaders.
Ingrates#Xenophobia— Damorela (@theDamorela) September 2, 2019
It is sad to witness the persistence in our society of the racism and xenophobia that seems to be a permanent part of our political culture. It is shameful to see politicians exploiting these human weaknesses in order to gain political power.#Xenophobia

The depressing news of killings of Nigerians, continued burning & looting of their shops in SA by criminal South Africans and the ineffectiveness of SA police to provide protection is totally unacceptable. We need to send strong signals to the SA govt. #Xenophobia

Some South African citizens on twitter have justified these attacks but it's obvious they don't know any better. It's the job of the government to reorientate her citizens. Is #xenophobia what South Africa wants to be known for? /2 pic.twitter.com/GD2wg1NgcC
