It is no longer news that America-based Nigerian writer Tomi Adeyemi‘s bestselling fantasy novel, “Children of Blood and Bone” has been slated to be adopted into a movie by Fox Production company.
The renowned Nigerian Hollywood director, Rick Famuyiwa, has been chosen to direct the movie adoption of the novel.
The script for the adaptation was written by David Magee, while Gillian Bohrer will be overseeing for Fox.
While director Rick Famuyiwa doubts also as the producer of the movie, Scott Falconer will also serve as the associate director.
Other producers include Marty Bowen, Isaac Klausner and John Fischer of Temple Hill and Karen Rosenfelt via her Sunswept Entertainment company.
The 45 years old director, who is also a screenwriter has been nominated for numerous awards and have featured in many films.
Adeyemi made headlines in the publishing world when she sold her debut book in the seven-figure range, one of the biggest for a YA debut.
