Charl Viljoen, a pilot, has lost his life in a plane crash after he intentionally crashed into a clubhouse at the Matsieng Aerodrome north of Gaborone, Botswana.

The pilot, who flew a King Air private aircraft, was disgruntled after he was sent out of a clubhouse, where he was having a baby shower after battering his wife.

He was said to have made a phone call to a friend at the event asking where his wife was. The man at the party realised what was happening and asked the over 50 guests in the building to evacuate.

In less than a minute, the pilot had crashed the plane into the clubhouse killing only himself.

According to Capetown Etc, Vijoen started work in Botswana as a chartered pilot in October 1. 2018.
