Niyi Akinmolayan (Wedding Party 2) and Zulu Oyibo (executive producer and founder of inkblot) were the latest guests on AccelerateTV’s Plug It, where they discussed their upcoming drama The Set Up, women being the position of power, diversification in Hollywood and domination of romantic comedies in Nollywood.
The Set Up is Akinmolayan’s latest film, produced by Zulu Oyibo’s Inkblot Productions in collaboration with Filmone Distribution and Anakle Films. The film tells the story of a young woman, Chike (Adesua Etomi), who gets more than she bargained for and is drawn into a web of deceit when a socialite hires her to aid his plans to marry a wealthy heiress, It stars Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Jim Iyke, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, Tina Mba, Joke Silva, Kehinde Bankole, and Ayoola Ayoola.
