Barely a week after a building housing a primary school collapsed in Lagos Island, another building has collapsed Lagos Island area of Lagos state.
Station Magazine understands that officials of the Lagos State Building Control Agency were pulling down a building beside the collapsed one when the incident happened.
Rasaki Musbau, the Director of the Lagos State Fire Service, while confirming the incident stated that the men of the service have been deployed to ensure the rescue of trapped victims.
Sahara Reporters reports that the incident happened at 57, Egerton Square, Oke Arin, Lagos Island.
An unconfirmed number of trapped victims have been reported as the resident of the house were in when the incident happened.
