Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey Set To Relocate To Africa In 2020

Co-founder and CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, has revealed that he would be moving down to Africa for some months in 2020.

The tech-entrepreneur made this known on his twitter handle while biding Africa goodbye after having completed his planned trip to Africa.

Dorsey had in November visited Nigeria and three other African countries to interact with entrepreneurs on the continent.

During his visit to Nigeria, Dorsey met with entrepreneurs and young artists, as well as Twitter board member Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, an economist and former managing director of the World Bank.

“Sad to be leaving the continent for now. Africa will define the future (especially the bitcoin one!). Not sure where yet, but I’ll be living here for 3-6 months mid-2020. Grateful I was able to experience a small part.,” he wrote in a tweet.

Dorsey didn’t, however, reveal the country he would be staying during his slated visit next year.

Station Magazine recalls that his Facebook counterpart Mark Zuckerberg made a similar visit to Nigeria sometime last year.
