British-Nigerian actor, David Oyelowo is expected to star in Netflix’s yet-untitled adaptation of Lily Brooks-Dalton’s 2016 novel, Good Morning, Midnight.
The set in a post-apocalyptic universe, follows the parallel stories of Augustine, a lonely scientist in the Arctic, as he races to make contact with the crew of the Aether spacecraft as they try to return home to Earth.
George Clooney, an oscar winner will play Augustine, while also directing the movie. Netflix is slated to be in charge of the distribution of the film.
Oyelowo’s role has not yet been revealed, but he will be joining a cast that already includes Felicity Jones (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and Kyle Chandler (The Wolf of Wall Street).
