Court Sentenced Wife Killer, Lakan Shonde, To Death.

Justice has finally been served to Mr. Lakan Shonde, a worker at a depot in Lagos State, as he was convicted by a Lagos court and sentenced to death for the murder of his wife Ronke.

Justice Josephine Oyefeso of the Lagos State High court, in her verdict, sentenced the convict to death.

Mr. Shonde has been accused of murdering his wife, an offense he had constantly denied doing stating that he only slapped her.

The convict accused his deceased wife of having an extra-marital affair with one Mr. Kayode the General Manager of a publishing company, before her death.

Shonde locked up the corpse of his spouse, with his children inside their home, before she was discovered hours later by their housekeeper.

He committed the offence in May 2016.
