The Future Award Africa 2019 celebrated African Young innovators and creators, on Sunday at an award ceremony that produced 20 winners.
The Award ceremony was hosted by Folarin ‘Falz’ Falana and actress Toni Tones, and Taymesan and Khaffi Kareem at The Balmoral, Federal Palace Hotel.
The Future Awards Africa 2019 celebrated young, diverse and innovative young Africans between the ages of 18 and 31, who have made a difference through social good, social enterprise, and creativity in the past year.
The event saw the emergence of Nigeria’s Afro-beat star, Burna Boy, as the Young Person of the Year. Station Magazine recalls that the African Giant was recently nominated for a Grammy Awards.
