Two Ugandan women who were victims of Acid attacks have shared their story of survival in a country where crimes are on the rise.
In an interview with BBC Africa, one of the victims, Reenah Ntoreinwe, who narrated her ordeal said: “It is bad to use acid as a weapon, If something can burn metal, why put it on somebody’s body”
Both victims spent months in the hospital and unfortunately they couldn’t identify the faces of their attackers.
The ladies who narrated their story called on the government to do something about the high incidence of Acid attacks in the country.
“If something can burn metal, why put it on someone’s body?"
