Nigerian culture is known to be colourful and inspiring. This reality is what has inspired a United Kingdom-based Nigerian who is telling the story and portraying the beauty of his culture through colours.
Yinka Ilori, is an artist based in London. He tells stories with colours and objects in public spaces.
Ilori, who has lived all his life in England, said that his visit to Nigerian popular Market, Balogun Market inspired him to do what he does.
In his conversation with BBC News Africa, Ilori said he wanted to bring that energy into art in London. According to him, “Your culture is what set you apart”
