The Oyo State government led by Governor Seyi Makinde, recently nominated Seun Fakorede, 27, as Commissioner in the state.

This development has spurred up a conversation about the achievement of the Not-Too-Young-To-Lead initiative.

The initiative that seeks to ensure that young Nigerians are given the opportunity to serve in various political capacities and to, in fact, hold political offices, have so far been impactful.

  4. He is expected to be commissioner over the ministry of youth and sports.
  5. He will be the younger commissioner to occupy that seat in the history of the state.
