The result of the governorship election in Kwara State has indicated that the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has won the election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC on Sunday afternoon declared Abdulrazaq winner of the poll.
According to the commission, the APC candidate won in all the 16 Local Government areas in the state.
This was after the collation of results from all the local government areas of the state were done on Sunday.
APC polled a total of 331,546, more than double the 114,754 votes secured by his main rival, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Abdulrazaq Atunwa.
